The Flying Lap is a weekly news, views and analysis show for fans of motorsport across the globe broadcast of Motorsport TV and motorsport.com. It ran from April 2017 to April 2018, for a total of 52 episodes. During that time, it was seen by millions of viewers and included the cream of motorsport talent.
JAM Creative Consultancy produced every show for the Motorsport Network which aired across multiple platforms including: a linear television broadcast, an OTT edit for the on demand service, social media snippets and digital shorts to accompany news stories across various editorial dot coms. The featured content was both studio based and out on location. Thus, on a weekly basis the Motorsport Network received a 25 minute TV show that covered everything from ice karting with Kimi Raikkonen to desert cycling with Estaban Ocon.
In April 2018, The Flying Lap was replaced by the Motorsport Show.
